That is a good question, because it is easy to confuse dreaming and visualizing with eachother. They are not the same. In visualizing you need to imagine having or being it, with all your senses. Not just wanting it.
You need to follow these simple steps:
1) Choose a situation, you want to improve on or what you want to attract in your life
Feeling anxious about an upcoming work meeting
Nervous about dating
Want a vacation under a palm tree
2) Think, what would be your desired outcome. How do you feel, act and what will you think. NB! The outcome should be always positive.
DO NOT USE: "I will not feel anxious.
USE INSTEAD: "I will feel confident and relaxed"
Feeling anxious about an upcoming work meeting --> I feel focused and relaxed. My mind is sharp and my voice is clear and firm
Nervous about dating --> I am confident and relaxed. I feel happy and smiling
Want a vacation under a palm tree --> I can afford a vacation to go to an island. I can see myself purchasing this vacation, feeling good and happy. Finally I can have this welldeserved vacation, where I'm sitting under the palm tree.
